The weekend of July 20 we will presenting the Evan Almighty.

You remember Bruce Almighty. Morgan Freedman is back as God, and now he needs wants an ark.

Evan Baxter wants to change the world. So he runs for congress, and gets elected. Life is good. Then, God shows up and wants Evan to build and ark. Animals begin following Evan around - two by two. He grows a beard, no matter how much he shaves. Belittled and made fun of, Evan finds that he isn't just serving his country, he is serving all of humanity. Evan Almighty is a comedy that looks like it will be even better than its predecessor, and more suitable for everyone in the family.

For all you comic fans, the weekend of July 13 we will presenting the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Life seems good to the Fantastic Four. Reed and Sue are getting married. Dr. Doom is back in his homeland. But then, Galactus has decided that Earth is his next target, so he sends The Silver Surfer to Earth. To make it all more fun, Dr. Doom decides that after two years in the homeland he is ready to return.

As of July 13, 2007, evening ticket prices will be changed to $5.00 per person. Matinee prices will remain at $4.00 per person, and all concession prices will remain at their current level. All children under the age of three will continue to be free.

To all our long time and customers and friends, we thank you. You are the heart of the Ambridge Family Theatre. Over the years Glenda has been able to gradually speed up the rate at which we are able to get films. When we first took over the threatre, it took us 6 - 8 weeks to get a film. Now we get most films in 2 - 5 weeks, and were even able to open the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie (and great fun it was. :-) ). We hope having prices at this level will allow us to get some movies even more quickly for you.

The weekend of July 6 we will bringing you Surf's Up.

Who would have thought it? Surfing was invented by penguins! Surf's Up is a documentary that takes us behind the scenes of the Penguin World Surfing Championship as we learn the story of Cody Maverick, a rock-hopper penguin who's life was changed forever by the legend of Big Z, an Emporer penguin who was one of the king's of penguin surfing.

The weekend of June 29 we will bringing you Ocean's Thirteen.

It's a heist! It's a comedy! It's a star-filled cast, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Al Pacino in the end of a trilogy. Ocean's crew is set to pull off another robbery in Las Vegas, a half a billion dollars in three and a half minutes, this time in the name of revenge. The rat pack looks good, and this movie looks like fun. Take a look at the trailer, then come enjoy yourselves.
