Sherlock Holmes is back for a new generation, this time played by Robert Downey, Jr.

Confident in a chance to relax after finally catching serial killer and sorcerer, Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson think they can close another successful case. But when Blackwood mysteriously returns from the grave and resumes his killing spree, the game is afoot once more.

Contending with his Dr. Watson's fiancée and the head of Scotland Yard, the immortal detective unravels the clues that lead him into a twisted web of murder, deceit, and magic - not least of which is the deadly embrace of the temptress Irene Adler.
