Closed for Nationality Days

May 12, 2010 3:57pm - This is just a reminder that we will be closed for Nationality Days, which is the weekend of May 14 - 16, 2010. A new movie will return on May 21. In the meantime, come see downtown Ambridge during the festival, enjoy the people, the food, and the street entertainment. Have a great week!

Snow Day!

February 10, 2010 1:06pm - Here we go again. As a result of last night's snow, we are cancelling the evening showing of Avatar for Wednesday, February 10, 2010. The street where we live has not been plowed today, so we can't get out of our driveway. In the interest of our safety, and yours, stay home this evening and enjoy the view of the snow without the hazards of driving in it. If the roads are cleared somewhat by tomorrow, we plan to have the 7:00PM showing on Thursday, January 11. We will also be holding Avatar over for the coming week, so if the snow kept you home, come on down this weekend. Thank you for your patience and support. Stay warm. Stay safe.

Matinees Cancelled Due to Snowstorm

February 6, 2010 10:56am - As a result of last night's snowstorm, we are cancelling the matinee showings of Avatar for Saturday, February 6, 2010. Unfortunately, our car is still snowed in and the side streets in Monaca, where we live, have not yet been cleared enough for us to get it out. As of right now we plan to have the evening shows, but that will depend on whether we can get out or not. If we need to cancel those also, I will update the web site. Thank you for your patience and support. Stay warm and safe. Don't drive today unless you need to. Edit: I've learned there is no where to park on Merchant Street. As a result, we are cancelling all shows for Saturday, February 6, 2010. We hope to see you Sunday.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Coming to Town on Opening Day

November 6, 2009 3:23pm - The Twilight Saga: New Moon PosterIt doesn't happen very often, but this month it did. We're happy to announce that beginning with a midnight show on Thursday (Friday, November 20 at 12:01AM), we will be opening The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second, and newest Twilight movie. As I said we will be having a midnight show at 12:01AM November 20 (that's midnight Thursday night/Friday morning). We will also be showing New Moon at all regular showtimes. Tickets are on sale now at the box office. All tickets are $5.00. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. Seating is limited, with only 125 tickets being sold for each show. Come in and reserve your seat for the midnight show, or any of our other showings of New Moon. We look forward to seeing you for this very special event!

Announcing Our New, Expanded Schedule

September 21, 2009 1:10pm - For most of us, weekends are for good times - going out to dinner, dancing, the ball game, festivals, the fair. But sometimes schedules stop us from doing all we want to do. For others of us weekends are for work. No matter how much we'd like to do something, we're not able to due to the requirements of our work or our life. Because of this, we are pleased to announce that beginning this week we have added weekday showings to our schedule. Starting Wednesday, September 23 we will be having a 7:00PM show on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This first week we will be holding over the family fantasy, Shorts. Showtimes, as I said, will be at 7:00PM on Wednesday and 7:00PM on Thursday, so if you weren't able to make it this weekend, come on down. We'll be looking forward to seeing you.
